I have been teaching English within the academic context for several years including working for the FZHB and for Faculty 10 English-Speaking Cultures. The MA research project I have recently conducted aims to combine theoretical considerations with the practice of English language testing. It looks at the many interfaces involved in testing spoken language, specifically within the oral proficiency interview, and addresses the practical challenge of ensuring reliable results.
